Nils Bech - Look Inside

Work:: Nils Bech (S0673183316)

Production:: Look Inside (T825830001)

Through voice, movement, music and text, Nils Bech creates rituals performed within Eirik S?ther's unique scenographic installations, assembled and staged from locally sourced materials at the specific venue, and to works by artist Ida Ekblad. Also participating in the performance-concert are the composers and musicians Kari R?nnekleiv, Ole Henrik Moe and Julian Skar. Look Inside is based on Nils Bech's new studio album released 2nd of November 2012 in Norway and on the 11th of January 2013 in the UK. The album tells the story of a romance that made Nils, in his own words, ?take a new look at myself and defy parts of my personality that I've brought with me my whole life?. Parallel to this theme is to be found a story of Nils's contradictory relationship with his craft as well as his audience and their expectations.
