"Where are you from? What are you?" Mixed up me is an exploration into what life is like being mixed race/heritage. Looking at the humour and the constant questions that are asked, it explores the history of mixedness from when scientist used to experiment on mixed race people to now being the largest growing ethnic group in the UK. The audience go on a journey through words, movement and song looking at the deeper and tougher times. It explores personal stories of both performer and mixed race people living in Plymouth. Mixed up Me premiered this year at Plymouth Fringe Festival and has been developed further.
