A tsunami of austerity. Big Society bully boys lining the streets. Broken Britain weeping in a dark corner, the last five years a haze. Too much fighting on the dancefloor. The Dancehouse Theatre and Mondo Arts would like to welcome to the horror-bucket-fest known as British politics... or at least as close as we can get to it in 120 minutes worth of live entertainment. Hosted by the Right Honorable RED REDMOND (with the looming shadow of RICHARD BARRY, poised and ready in the background) - a range of satirical works, pieces, laments and whines will be on display exploring the political landscape and all it's casualties. Other acts and guests include resident performer THICK RICHARD, actor and wordy man JACK GALAREUX, comedy/musical-like/IT talented FOX DOG STUDIOS along with other horror/wonder/surprises. All this alongside our headline act: writer, satiricalist and musical man performer chap - MITCH BENN, regular writer and performer on "The Now Show" for BBC Radio 4 and "It's Been a Bad Week" for BBC Radio 2, as well as contributing occasional songs to Channel 4's "Bremner Bird And Fortune" Mitch is known for his Radio 4 show, "Mitch Benn's Crimes Against Music" whilst also appearing regularly on BBC1's "The One Show" as the writer and arranger of "The Complaints Choir". So sit, brace yourself, and let "democracy" wash over you with that little voice crying out "oh dear".
