Literary Death Match

Literary Death Match

Work:: Literary Death Match (S0597679044)

Production:: (T1087443747)

Last we LDM'd in London (October 16 - that innocent time!), the world wasn't a shitshow. But now? Shitshow. Complete, utter shitshow. And I'm not a guy that uses the term shitshow, and definitely not loosely. But here it is, four times in five sentences. Which doesn't seem enough. So what can we do while anti-literate, anti-science, anti-thought forces rise up? Fight back. This year, we've been using LDM to feature the exact people that are getting kicked hardest in the face - immigrants, women, BAME, LGBTQ - and putting them in our shows. Because there's no better time to listen. That's why we reached out to author Nikesh Shukla, one of our favorite people, and the mind behind The Good Immigrant anthology

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
