Nicola Baird, author, blogger and Islington resident invites you to celebrate the 100th published interview on the popular islingtonfacesblog.com on Saturday 25 October. Six special very guests will be interviewed live on stage, or will be performing! Multi-linguist Joanna Bevan who has amazing ways to get the neighbourhood talking at her Speak Street cafe in Archway. Local royalty, John Walters, the fabulous Pearly King of Finsbury. We meet the Mayor of Islington, Theresa de Bono. Singing sensation Hanisha Solomon performs for us. Ernestas Jegorovas, the Highbury Fields star gazer talks astronomy Bernita Matondo will be jamming on the piano. The afternoon is a fundraising event for The King's Head Theatre.
