Details

Part theatre, part installation, part fashion show, the latest piece in Theatre Replacement's series of biographical performances takes inspiration from garments and outfits from around the world. It's a generous, open and comic piece, in which the performers reveal stories behind the clothes through songs, movement and dance numbers. The show features live music from Vancouver composer, singer and keyboardist Veda Hille. Theatre Replacement have a signature style of working with texts and biographical performance that connects the personal opinions and biases of the performers with the subject matter. The resulting performance is a mash up of personal stories gathered and retold, from the banal and everyday, to the critical moments and turning points that shape our lives.
