Born of the crypt - an underground site-specific performance unearthing London's past, its foul exquisite secrets and the flaws beneath the floors. Other Info: FACT: Until its exhumation in 2002 the crypt housed 3000 bodies, 5 coffins high from floor to ceiling CONTROVERSY: C15th anthropomorphic coffin found - owner still unidentified! WHO WAS THIS MAN? The coffin still rests in the crypt and will be incorporated into show. URGENT: this will be the LAST SHOW in this extraordinary space before it is commercially developed. UNIQUE: the crypt is the very place that witnessed many of the actual happenings the show depicts - a more authentic site-specific experience cannot be had.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
