"We regret that some of the injuries were life changing. Not least the decapitation. The decapitation was definitely life changing." Presented quite literally as a series of public apologies, this satirical play is heightened in its parody and piercing in its interrogation of how our attempts to define ourselves in public are shaped by the fear of saying the wrong thing. A Series of Public Apologies will be performed by dramatists from years 9-11. Following this, the Reading School A-level class will present a series of scripted extracts, each carefully selected to showcase their skills.
