Accidental Festival
Work:: Accidental Festival (S01633299752)
Production:: (T0120766378)
An exciting and innovative arts festival driven by the desire to provide upcoming artists with a platform to show work alongside more established artists, it is a celebration of art in all it's forms with a focus on community involvement and bringing artists together to create new work and share ideas. It is an ambitious, entrepreneurial, yet highly creative event, which aspires to make things happen, to challenge what is possible, and find new and successful ways of creating connections, provoking discussions, and making opportunities for international participation. The Accidental Festival is a flagship event under the Cultural Camden initiative, a cross-sector collaboration between Central School of Speech and Drama, the Roundhouse and the Hampstead Theatre. There has never been a more important time for creative thinking in the cultural sector, and these three organisations have come together to enable the development of innovative practice across the sector through the Accidental Festival. Entirely produced and organised by a team of students from The Central School of Speech and Drama, the festival has previously been hosted by the ICA and BAC showcasing work from across the world.
