Food and Justice - A World of Plenty? The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (U.N. 1948), Article 25, is that Food is A Basic Human Right but knowing that there is a chronic global food crisis in which one billion (one in six) people go to bed hungry every day of their shortened lives - we ask ourselves why? All of our 2012/13 courses have been exploring this theme in different ways. The Pegasus spring performance platform has the title A World of Plenty? and has encouraged all of the young people to use their creativity to question, explore and challenge this fact and hoping that Pablo Neruda's poem The Great Tablecloth will one day become a reality!
