An evening of music, song, dance and drama to commemorate Language Movement Day of Bangladesh. Bangla is the official language of Bangladesh. The people of former East Pakistan, now Bangladesh, defended their language when the Pakistani government imposed Urdu as the state of language in 1952. In association with the Portsmouth Bangladeshi Welfare Association, supported by Portsmouth City Council.
