One third of human life is spent in bed; living, resting, crying, hiding, love making, sleeping, dreaming and dying. 40 Feathered Winks explores the bed as a universal and personal place in which we shut out the rest of the world and experience some of the most profound human emotions and happenings. In this magical experience, conscious and unconscious minds interweave, forming a patchwork story of eight characters as they journey in, under and over their beds. Live original music accompanies this spectacular visual and physical exploration of time passed horizontally; from sleepovers to hangovers, clinical depression to orgasms.
