Details

Based on a novel by Mikhail Bulgakov. Political satire, black humour, magic - very Russian, very operatic. When the Devil arrives in Moscow and discovers that there is not one sould who believes in him he creates glorious havoc. Before long the asylums are full, a head rolls, and somewhere along the line Pontius Pilate receives redemption. Only the Master and his lover Margarita, remain unscathed.
