Details

The Four Note Opera is an attractive, witty comedy. It is absurd, satirical and plain funny. Full of invention, with four singers, literally, just four notes and one frustrated pianist, it makes fun of the vanities of the singing profession and the internal tensions of opera performance. One aria features breathing exercises, the use of an atomiser, the sucking of a lemon, and moonlight.
