Details

May We Borrow Your Husband is an opera written for five voices a capella. Set in an hotel in the South of France, it is based on a story by Graham Greene. An elderly English novelist is working quietly on a book when two couples arrive; a pair of middle-aged gay men, and a young honeymoon couple. As the relationship of these four people, some naive, some manipulative, begin to unravel, the worldly writer is dragged more or less willingly into the 'sad little comedy' that is unfolding before his eyes.
