Details

Queen Mary, a grandmother of our present queen, was known for her straight back, park pie hat, rows of pearls and a discerning eye for antiques. She had a habit of visiting grand country houses and leaving with one or two of her host's choicest items. In this entertaining little gem, she dishes the dirt on her own family life whilst graciously visiting a special edition of The Antiques Roadshow. Written in 2004 to mark the 50th anniversary of her death.
