Inspired by a one woman 'apology' show that Hetty saw about an unreasonable teenager making her mother's life hell; Hetty came away instantly driven to tell a story about a truly remarkable mother of four, who bravely grabbed every opportunity life gave, and sometimes threw at her. As she remembered story after story from memories that flooded back from her unconventional and sometimes chaotic upbringing, it reaffirmed to Hetty that snippets from her formidable mother's life needed to be told and shared with as wide an audience as possible.
