The Roy Orbison Story

Work:: The Roy Orbison Story (S1675)

Originally called Only the Lonely, ran in the West End before touring (1996). Charting Roy Orbison's meteoric rise to fame from the early Texas days, his first British tour with The Beatles, the downturn in fortune through to the triumphant comeback years, we follow a life full of heartbreak tragedy and unique talent. Peppered with the great rock 'n' roll heroes of the time, including Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and more, this phenomenal musical tribute belts out over 20 shiver-down-the-spine classics in a two hour rockin' rollercoaster.
