The Rocky Horror Show

The Rocky Horror Show

Work:: The Rocky Horror Show (S1671)

Follows squeaky-clean sweethearts Brad and Janet on an adventure they'll never forget, with the scandalous Frank N Furter, rippling Rocky and vivacious Magenta. Bursting at the seams with timeless classics, including 'Sweet Transvestite', 'Damn It Janet' and, of course, the pelvic-thrusting 'Time Warp', Get ready for a night of fun, frolics and frivolity. This is the boldest bash of them all, so fish out the fishnets, buff up your basque and sharpen those stilettos for the rockiest ride of your life! Don't dream it - be it!

I.ve recently seen the show at the Ashcroft Theatre at Fairfield Halls in Croydon (18/2/00) and it was brilliant...I'm now considering to see it again but with a bigger group of friends...I had never seen the show before but from my experience of loud musicals I know that Rocky Horror is to be one of my favourites. Every character lives up to the part...the narrator was Nicholas Parsons when I went to go and see it but I have been told that it is usually Ken Morley and from friends I have learnt that he doesn't give the role justice at times...I disagree with the Croydon Advertiser's views on Andy Mace as Riff-Raff. He (especially)and Alex Bourne (Frank n'Furter) gave a brilliant portrayl of both characters. The phantoms were really good but my friend frequently turned to me and told me that at times they seemed (almost)bored. I loved the show and recommend everyone to go see the show and to dress up...I did and I am now no longer a virgin to the Rocky Horror Show!
