I have to be totally honest, I have been going to watch musical theatre for 20 years. Fringe, West End & Broadway. I went to see Stand Tall yesterday and I have to say that this show could be the next big thing in musical theatre. Yes it has more work to be done on it and it is restricted in such a small setting as the Landor, but the show is stunning. A witty and emotive story with amazing songs and lyrics. The cast are growing into their roles and the band especially Dean Austin are superb. I have rebooke Lydia: 16Oct11:
When this aft - lucky to have got a ticket it was full to the brim. I am really glad I went too and won't be forgeting this one anytime soon. My favourite songs - Goliath's Song, Indecisive....all them actually! Totally think everyone check sthis out!! Tabitha: 15Oct11:
Awesome musical. Simply brilliant songs to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. The Landor is the platform to launch this one way up to where it truly belongs. The actors do a fab job, especially as budgets are always tight for fringe theatre - but with a nil budget this would still win a place in your heart. Yan: 15Oct11:
I went this afternoon and cannot believe how such an amazing little show is not up there in flashing lights. The music was amazing. The writer has done a great job of adapting for a small venue but leaves me with the feeling that this is gonna grom big! I would definitely recommend this one! User Reviews
