Rumpelstiltskin

Work:: Rumpelstiltskin (S1677)

The tale of a beautiful princess with long tresses at the mercy of wicked dwarf

Production:: (T891845703)

Rumpelstiltskin is a family musical theatre show telling the mesmerising tale of a vindictive scoundrel called Rumpelstiltskin. When he saves the life of the miller's pure-hearted daughter, he makes good her father's boast that she can spin straw into gold, but attempts to extract a terrible price in return. Years later, the daughter, now with child, has to face this terrible man one more time and honour his hopeless deal, unless, of course, she can... Guess. His. Name. This newly-commissioned fantasy tells of magic, mischief and menace, of loose tongues and of the power of names. It is a thrilling modern take on the traditional Grimm tale filled with deliciously witty lyrics and melodic music. Age 8+
