Shakespeare's classic moves to Sheffield as two lovers from very different backgrounds seek romance and happiness. Originally created and devised to help 21st century teenagers engage with the work of our greatest playwright, the show mixes Shakespeare's words with the language and sounds of South Yorkshire and is located and rooted in the city we love. The soundtrack pays homage to favourite local bands including Arctic Monkeys, Human League, Pulp, Def Leppard, Joe Cocker and Reverend & the Makers.
Romeo & Juliet - The Steel City Edition is irreverent, funny and sad. The music and dancing are great and the young cast are amazing. A hit at the 2011 Children's festival, don't miss out this year on a fantastic evening's entertainment for star crossed lovers of all ages!
