Paradise Moscow archiveSet in 1950s Moscow, Paradise Moscow combines realism and fantasy, romance and villainy, in a brilliant comic satire on corrupt Party officialdom and Soviet urban planning. The score moves from wildly tuneful dance music to lyrical ballads in a hugely enjoyable musical parody of a whole range of styles - from Offenbach to Tchaikovsky, Lehar to rock 'n' roll.
