It's 1952 and four young women give birth to 'Guild Babies'. Twenty years later as the town celebrates another Guild, their paths begin to part, but they will intertwine again in 1992 when the bulk of this musical is set. Finally, there is a glimpse of the future as the next Guild approaches as those born in '52 look back on the loves, losses disappointments and joys of their Preston days.
