It's a story of love, humour and sheer determination against evil and corruption. It tells the life story of one of the world's great stars of the cinema, Charlie Chaplin, and his voyage from the poor streets of London to the dizzy heights of Hollywood. Along the way it chronicles his many marriages, outspoken views, the devastation he endured when thrown out of the country he loved, finally finding real love and his wife Oona and his beloved family, and his ultimate triumphant return to the States and the Oscars.
