Little Me archiveSet in 1920s America, it tells the story of Belle Schlumpfert, a little girl from the wrong side of the tracks, and her rise to fame and fortune. Her life takes a series of bizarre turns after she meets the high born Noble Eggleston who cannot marry her because she lacks 'wealth, culture and social position'. Dancing and singing, Belle sets out in pursuit of these goals.
