Kingmaker The Musical
T162743294
A new look at New Labour. A Prince never lacks legitimate reasons to break his promise - Niccol? Machiavelli (1469-1527) In the war between North and South, King John's northern forces are no match for Queen Marguerita until Peter, the Kingmaker, persuades the heir-apparent, Prince Gordon, to enlist the aid of charming Prince Anthony . All goes well until, to Gordon's fury, Anthony ascends the throne and enters into a rash Crusade... This satirical musical by Bill Robinson (former Special Adviser to a Chancellor of the Exchequer) and Jeremy Noble portrays a bitter Jacobean power struggle. It is a timeless tale of friendship and betrayal at the highest level. Any resemblance to modern British politics is, of course, entirely deliberate.
