Details

In the Red archiveLoosely based on the turn-of-the-century novel The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists by Robert Tressell. It is believed to be the world's first musical score written specifically for brass bands, though its rousing music owes more to the sounds of Les Miserables and Blood Brothers than traditional brass band oompah.
