Backslider (Part 2): Oh Happy Days

Backslider (Part 2): Oh Happy Days

Work:: Backslider (Part 2): Oh Happy Days (S0535087826)

This controversial yet conscious story looks at how a young Christian couple copes with the pressures of marriage, anti-natal depression, temptation and the lures of today s world-. It also focus on the constant battle of the wayward daughter of the local pastor and his wife. A constant duel between father and daughter, a mom who always sees another side of the saga, and a happy go lucky neighbour entwines the mode of this hilarious and exciting production. Oh Happy Days has a richly blend of humour and seriousness, and takes you to a realistic situation, faced by many of us who either grew up in the church or have a religious belief. Commitment, spirituality, god fearing and enjoying gods words is seen wholeheartedly as the plot thickens to heart rendering gospel music and gospel sang in opera. Backslider Part 2 'Oh Happy Days? will see touching dramatically moments blend delicately with hilarious comedy, as the Christianity religion comes alive. This is a play for the whole family. It will make you laugh; it will make you cry; it will make you sing along; but it will also make you think!
