Book by Robert Louise Stevenson

Production:: (T1279619015)

This December set sail with Lanternhouse and Visible Fictions to discover a story bursting with sea shanties, treasures, and a sumptuous amount of adventure. Local lad Robbie Stevenson prefers to hide away from the world inside the pages of his favourite book, Treasure Island. But with a little bit of imagination, the book comes to life, and he is thrust aboard. Robbie soon finds that you can't stay hiding forever when he must learn to navigate his own course, and to discover the world is full of treasure, if you're brave enough to look. This swash-buckling, fun-packed show invites you to embark on a global journey along the Forth and Clyde canal and into the vast ocean. Children and grown-ups alike will be bound out of the theatre with adventure on the high seas! The story introduces you to a world full of thrilling adventure; a world in which the boat voyage comes to life on stage and throughout the theatre in an all-consuming ocean. Suitable for ages five plus, this uniquely Scottish adaptation featuring live music is perfect for pirates, landlubbers, and the whole family.
