Telling Tales

Work:: Telling Tales (S0915700605)

Production:: (T0130768132)

Telling Tales is a gentle, funny programme of stories told through dance. There’s a version of The Hare and The Tortoise with the Hare doing everything possible to win the race, a dressing-up argument involving stripey tights and the biggest overcoat you’ve ever seen, and a fast-paced retelling of The Golden Goose involving two performers playing a multitude of characters! Two international choreographers Enrique Cabera (Aracladanza) and [Hélène Blackburn] (Cas Public) - worked with a group of East Midlands dancers to create this playful programme which is a wonderful introduction to dance and theatre for children and family audiences.
