Sir Scallywag and The Battle of Stinky Bottom - Music in the Round

Sir Scallywag and The Battle of Stinky Bottom

Work:: Sir Scallywag and The Battle of Stinky Bottom (S601382722)

Ensemble 360 and narrator Polly Ives lead a schools' project based on our latest commission from award-winning Children's Composer in Residence Paul Rissmann. It promises to engage children and their grown-ups in high-quality musical activity over the autumn term, inspired by the new Sir Scallywag book written by Giles Andreae* and illustrated by Korky Paul (Penguin, 2015).
Book by Giles Andreae

Production:: Music in the Round (T01189213541)

The INSET session, led by Polly Ives, provides hands-on training and inspiration, and shows how to link the project with the EYFS and KS1 national curriculum. Free resources and a copy of the book are included. The concerts bring together schools and nurseries from across the city and beyond and are packed full of highly engaging live classical music, storytelling, illustrations from the book and lots of audience participation. If you enjoyed Crazy Creatures, Stan and Mabel and the rest, you will love this one!
