The production tells the story of Ash, Pokemon master-in-training, who teams up with Pikachu and fellow trainers Misty and Brock to thwart the sinister schemes of Giovanni and Team Rocket, who are planning to take over the world. The story features a host of Pokemon favourites like Geodude and Meowth and unveils a new creature as Team Rocket's secret weapon, MechaMew 2. Fans will recognise several songs, such as "What Kind Of Pokemon Are You?" and "Double Trouble" in the accompanying musical journey which also features live performances of rap, Latin beat and rock, while director-choreographer Luis Perez works in some fantastic dance routines including ballet and tango.
