Playing from the Heart

Work:: Playing from the Heart (S0894797888)

A celebration of the early life of Evelyn Glennie, the world's most famous percussionist. Here's theatre with a difference! A production that weaves together exciting music, dance and action with a beautifully crafted script and a host of extraordinary percussion effects, to tell the story of the childhood of Evelyn Glennie, destined to become the world's most famous percussionist. The story follows her journey from a happy childhood in Scotland, the challenge of her increasing deafness and her courage and determination to overcome all the odds and win a place at the Royal College of Music.
