12 year old Violet has always been in the shadow of brother Will - his dreaded games of Truth or Dare often leave Violet's nerves in tatters. Will discovers a shocking secret about his past and things seem to be getting worse, so Violet retreats into her fantasy world created by her favourite author Casper Dream. However the arrival of a new girl at school, Jasmine seems like it might change Violet's life for the better and break her free of Will's spell over her. Suitable for 9-14 year olds.
