Shakespeare told wonderful stories but we're pretty sure he didn't come up with them all by himself! Stories have always been passed from person to person, changing slowly over time, travelling the world until they become myths, legends, fables and folktales. So, this half term we're celebrating the oral tradition of storytelling. We're wrapping up in blankets, getting ready for winter and gathering together to share a tale or two. This autumn, Shakespeare's Globe has gathered some of the best storytellers from across the country to tell you some of their favourite tales.
