Archive listings for Aesop's Fables (2019)

Work type: Kids show.

T0746784456

As far as we know, Aesop was a slave and storyteller who lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 564 BC. But although we don't know much about the man himself, we do still have over 725 of his stories - passed down from generation to generation. We considered doing all 725 fables and then thought better of it. What we've done instead is asked a few of our favourite writers to select one fable and to re-tell it for our today's audience. We're presenting two versions of the results: one for ages 4-7 and one for ages 8-12.Producer Unicorn Theatre. Director Justin Audibert. Director Rachel Bagshaw.
