Colours of Dance - Holiday on Ice

Colours of Dance

Work:: Colours of Dance (S1944086435)

Colour of Dance portrays the diversity and energy of dance the world over. The show tells the story of a young girl's passion for dancing as she embarks upon a magical journey of self-discovery through colourful settings and a breathtaking array of dance styles. From the intensity and passion of the tango and the romance of the lovers' adagio to the raw rebellion of rock and roll and hip hop, the show transports its audience to locations ranging from the urban backstreets to the jasmine-scented temples of Tibet - even taking in the shadowy world of nightmares, as ghosts materialise before our very eyes...Colours of Dance is a vibrant visual display that combines the energy and athleticism of skating with the grace and flair of dance in an innovative show, all set to music ranging from Bach to the Backstreet Boys to original music composed by Rene Dupere (Cirque Du Soleil), to give an exuberant, multicultural, multinational feel.
