Based around guitarist Luke Jenner's tangled guitar riffs, Matty Safer's thick bassline stew and Vito Roccoforte's disco-punk drumming, each song is brought to a rhythmic boil. Tight and menacingly unhinged at the same time, The Rapture bring to mind Television, Gang of Four and Public Image, yet represent the ultimate future sound of 21st-century dance and new wave guitar fusion.
