Soultek Session

Work:: Soultek Session (S1299888567)

Production:: (T925421886)

‘A blistering blend of aching Terry Callier cool and Nat King Cole with his blues pipes turned up to twelve’ Soultek Session brings together the underground of electronica with the new tones of jazz and soul, hosted by XFM’s Nick Luscombe and Simon Vincent (visionofsound). This month features two very different live performances. Lead vocalist on Faze Action’s Broad Souls album, Andre Espeut presents his new project Girasol, featuring guitar from Yogi (Urban Species). Best described as nu soul meets psychedelic funk, expect a inspirational musical journey. Japanese performer Mico’s recent vibrant live shows in and around London have won praise for her stream of conscious poetry set against a cinematic sound clash of fractured musical landscapes.
