Young Harts Writing Festival

Work:: Young Harts Writing Festival (S01559397876)

Production:: (T01426465503)

The Young Harts Writing Festival is back this April, bringing you a series of ten new engaging short plays. Following a competition, five plays written by young writers (10 -25 yrs), were selected to be performed, alongside five plays, commissioned and written by professional writers. Their shared brief; to write a ten minute piece on the theme of ?secrets' in whichever form they wished to interpret it. Following the success of the festival last April, this year promises to deliver equally original and compelling drama. As before, the audience will be kept guessing as to whether the writer was a professional or a young writer. The writers and the winner for each night will be revealed at the end of the evening once the audience votes are counted. There are sure to be several surprises.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
