Perô is a funny, enchanting and beautiful production that skilfully combines actors, puppets, live music and song to tell this story of love and friendship. In a small Italian village, Perô, a bashful baker, is too nervous to declare his love for the girl next-door, Colombina. But one day a suave painter, Paletino, breezes into town and sweeps her off her feet. Will Colombina fall for Paletino’s easy charms or will she realise that love has been on her doorstep all along?
