From Baghdad to Alhambra? archiveWith ink and pen, Iraqui born artist and calligrapher Mark Shukur charts an historical journey from the earliest depictions of numbers, through the creative and perceptual flowering of Islam and the golden epoch of Al Andalus, towards a contemporary take on change and continuity in the modern world. His works can be found in public and private collections in Europe, Australia, India, USA, the Middle East and the Maghreb countries of North Africa.
