WICKED, the "West End phenomenon" (The Sunday Telegraph) at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, is proud to announce its fifth annual WICKED DAY, a free day of family fun that celebrates the show and raises funds for environmental causes in and around the local community. This year’s WICKED DAY event will take place at London’s St Pancras International on Sunday 31 October between 12 noon and 4pm. WICKED DAY will feature a host of WICKED and Halloween-themed events throughout the station including live performances from cast members, face-painting, workshops and a range of activities suitable for people of all ages. All proceeds from WICKED DAY 2010 will be donated to the funding of a project between WICKED and the Woodland Trust in support of the charity’s "More Trees More Good" Heartwood Forest Appeal, currently planting England’s largest new continuous native forest near St Albans. WICKED and the Woodland Trust will work alongside London Wildlife Trust’s Camley Street Natural Park and St Pancras International’s chosen charity - New Horizon Youth Centre in Kings Cross - to engage, encourage and enable young people to interact with the natural environment both on their doorsteps and outside of London at Heartwood Forest.
