In a bustling, festive atmosphere infused with the spirit of enquiry and a sense of fun, What Goes Up is your chance to test old proverbs and record new ones, What Goes Up is housed in a caravan corral at The Roundhouse, where Londoners can explore and question some of our traditional wisdoms. Throw yourself into series of experiments - take part in trials to teach an old dog new tricks, step into the Laughing Caravan to find out if he who laughs last really laughs the longest, and test Murphey's law by throwing buttered toast off Umpire chairs to really see how often they land butterside-down. This is your chance to lead a horse to water and try and make him drink, see if the grass really is greener on the other side of the fence and teach a grandmother to suck eggs. Out team of 'experts' will set up and monitor the experiments, record the results and present their findings. Join in and experiment.
