Details

Punch & Judy Professors will gather in the garden of St Paul's Church (the Actor's church) to celebrate the first sighting of Mr Punch in England by Samuel Pepys in May 1662. The day starts at 11am with a Grand Procession around the neighbourhood of Covent Garden led by the Superior Brass Band. At 12noon there will be a Special Church Service with Mr Punch in the Pulpit. From 12.30pm to 5.30pm there'll be Punch & Judy and Puppet Shows, Puppet Workshops, Stalls, Refreshments, Folk Music and Maypole Dancing in the garden of St Paul's Church.
