Join us as we celebrate the many achievements of the young people of Edmonton. Hear their stories and find out what and who inspires our younger generations, and across the generations. An evening of song, dance and storytelling influenced by these tales along with special awards presented to the new local heroes within our community. Bruce Forsyth nominated Fred Astaire as his hero when he re-opened Millfield Arts Centre on October 6 2009. As a young man living in Edmonton Bruce opened his own dance school at the age of 14 in his father’s garage on Victoria Road. He went on to become one of the greatest entertainers of his generation.
