Details
A one-day event in three sessions plus a performance in the evening. We will be looking at humour in evolution, in children, in history and across the world. Through psychology and neuroscience we will trace humour's place in the brain and how it is expressed in art. We can promise you not only a day to stimulate your brain cells, but also your funny bone. Professor Richard Wiseman, a star of our last Festival, will be among the luminaries taking part. Among other displays we are planning exhibitions of caricatures and even some drawing on the spot by well-known cartoonists.
