Before the day breaks on the hazy Autumn mornings of Tues 19th - Sat 23 Oct, commuters, families, students and people waking through some of Leeds' favourite parks will stumble upon artist Chris Parsons sweeping beautiful patterns into the dew with a wide brush. As the sun rises they'll see his magical, haunting patterns illuminate then fade and vanish as the sun's rays heat the earth evaporating the dew. Yorkshire Dance teamed up with artist Chris Parsons when Yorkshire Dance Director Bush Hartshorn first saw photos of Chris' dew patterns. Bush wanted to present Chris' artwork in the city, where the natural life cycle of these patterns created by the fusion of earth, water and fire, will be seen in the context of choreography.
