The day before Scotland approaches the referendum on independence, the National Theatre of Scotland presents Blabbermouth, a one day event, and a moment to celebrate Scotland's contribution to the world through its written word. Over a twelve hour period, more than 100 of Scotland's greatest texts will be read live by some of the country's politicians, sportspeople, schoolchildren, journalists, teachers, workers, students, novelists, janitors and performers. The only proviso they have been given is that whatever they choose to read, it has to have been written by a Scot.
